Important announcement
Following the current situation in the Middle East , ECAHO would like to recommend the following:
- those officials currently officiating at any show throughout the Gulf region should please stay in touch with the organizers, who should inform them about any developments and the status of their flights. We strongly recommend registering yourself with your national Ministry of Foreign Affairs system for travelers, where you can also obtain valuable information to make your stay or return safe.
- Officials who are traveling to the shows in the Gulf region soon are advised to consider their trip carefully due to safety concerns and possible travel complications.
- All organizers of upcoming shows in the Gulf region are kindly asked to reconsider the postponement or cancellation of their shows for safety reasons. ECAHO will do its best to help accommodate these shows once the situation becomes safe again.
ECAHO wishes no harm to anyone in the region and expresses its hopes for a quick de-escalation of the situation.

Dear Delegates, In light of the recent situation in the Gulf region and the Middle East, the Executive Committee has been closely monitoring developments that may affect the travel and safety of our Members. Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding travel possibilities for many of our delegates, the Executive Committee has decided, after careful consideration, to shift the dates of the Annual General Meeting.

The Executive Committee has decided to align the validity of the current “walk-in” rule with that of the new Blue Book 2026.

Please be aware that the Show Commission approved very important change of the rules (RCS, art. 22) - with effect since 1.1.2026 all horses at the shows must enter the ring in WALK ONLY.
