ECAHO's Executive Committee (EC) has reviewed
ECAHO's contracts with Officials, taking into consideration the various
restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Amongst others, many
Officials will not be able to attend at least one ECAHO workshop during their
term, thus not fulfilling their contractual obligations.
Therefore, the EC decided that all contractual appointments of Officials
ending by 31 December 2020 will be automatically prolonged by one year until 31
December 2021.
All other contractual termination clauses, such as
for example concerning age limits, remain unchanged. An update on workshops and
more will follow in due course.

Dear Delegates, In light of the recent situation in the Gulf region and the Middle East, the Executive Committee has been closely monitoring developments that may affect the travel and safety of our Members. Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding travel possibilities for many of our delegates, the Executive Committee has decided, after careful consideration, to shift the dates of the Annual General Meeting.

The Executive Committee has decided to align the validity of the current “walk-in” rule with that of the new Blue Book 2026.

Please be aware that the Show Commission approved very important change of the rules (RCS, art. 22) - with effect since 1.1.2026 all horses at the shows must enter the ring in WALK ONLY.
